TAUK at Trails End Restaurant

TAUK at Trail’s End Restaurant in Montauk, NY, is recognized as the town’s oldest restaurant, originally opening in 1927 near Fort Pond Bay before moving to 63 South Euclid Avenue after the 1938 hurricane. Long a family-style eatery, it was purchased in 2015 by Michael Nasti, rebranded as TAUK, and renovated to serve locally sourced seafood and American comfort food.

Executive Chef Joel Valentin serves homestyle comfort food with a unique flair. Local fresh Seafood, prime cut Steaks, fun Pasta & Salads are enjoyed inside our casual beach style restaurant, or outdoors on our garden patio. Check out our Live Music page for a list of live music to enjoy with some local beer, wine, and hand picked spirits.

Michael Nasti is only the third family to own it since 1927. After modest renovations, we shifted to a more beach-oriented restaurant while keeping our warm local charm. This place is packed with history from the building, the bar, the neon signs, and the oldest working telephone booth in Montauk - hidden from the public eye as a speakeasy bat phone.

TAUK hosts an array of live music shows throughout the year with local musicians and beyond outside on our dining patio. We also run our famous Monday Jam Nights with Joe Delia every Monday from 7pm-10pm all year round. Every Tuesday we host our TAUK Tuesdays with DJ Chile on the turntables from 10pm-4am. Mambo Saturdays enjoy a mixture of latin dance music with DJ Chile from 10pm-4am and Sundays we have DJ Biggie spinning Top 40 hits and more from 9pm-2am!

Come early and skip the lines at night as you party your way into the weekend! Escape the high priced frills and fads of Montauk and sink into real entertainment with quality affordable cocktails.
